The Tale of This Treasure
After submitting photographic proof, witness interviews, and the physical data-chip recovered from the scene, TAP higher-ups authorized the standard field stipend and low-tier rewards for your first successful anomaly closure. The team received a sealed stipend pouch with immediate coin, two healing potions for on-call emergencies, a healer's kit for stabilizing civilians, and three small valuables to convert or trade. More important than the coin are the TAP credential memo and the encrypted case data-chip. The memo will make it easier to call in favors or request supplies from allied TAP stations. The data-chip contains the case summary and timestamps that may attract attention from both allies and opportunists. The package is intentionally practical: enough gold to cover travel and gear repairs after a first field op, a bit of disposable wealth in the form of gems, and the operational tools TAP expects low-level agents to carry. Keep the credential and chip safe; they are worth more for your standing with TAP than their raw market value.
