Dawn Raid on the Fordside Bandit Camp

At first light your party crept into the fordside bandit camp while most of the gang slept off the previous night's spoils. After a brief, chaotic fight you scattered the sentries and bested the veteran who led them. The camp was a rough collection of lean-tos, a central fire pit and a few overturned crates where the gang kept the day's plunder. You recover coin cloths, two serviceable blades, a hand crossbow, discarded armor, and the personal effects of several of the bandits. Tucked in a lockbox is a ledger and a map fragment that name a merchant route the gang has been preying on, a likely lead for the next job. Among the mundane spoils you find a healing potion and two marketable gems, enough to patch wounds, buy new kit, and tip the scales for your next travel or ransom demand.
