Battlefield Spoils: Elk Skirmish

The skirmish was brief and wild. Two elks stampeded through a contested ford and into your path, tangled in ropes and torn tack from the nearby militia. Once the danger was dealt with, the party gathered what they could from the animals and the disturbed campsite. You find practical supplies more than treasure: cured hides for leatherworkers, usable meat and sinew, a pair of antlers that will make a striking trophy or useful components, a length of rein that still has life in it, and a single Potion of Healing likely left behind by a medic. A battered brass token and a few loose coins hint that this battlefield was recently busy, and following those clues could lead to the regiment that once used these beasts.
