The defeated staff did not carry their wealth openly. Tiefling attendants wore practical uniforms, the human cultists kept only small purses, and the oni concealed its valuables behind layers of theatrical hospitality. Most of the real treasure was gathered in the oni's suite and the hotel's accounting office: coin from corrupt guests, gemstones accepted as favors, emergency magic reserved for influential visitors, and records of the hotel's secret clientele. The cache is valuable enough to reward a party of 11th level, but its greatest danger may be the Crimson Guest Ledger. It names people who may desperately want the evidence destroyed, and it suggests that the demon hotel was only one branch of a much larger network.
