Hoarfang's Lightning Vault

Beneath a ruined coastal watchtower the adult blue dragon known as Hoarfang nested among smashed cargo crates and the splintered remains of a caravan. Its hoard is heavily coastal in flavor: merchant coinage, trade gemstones, and maritime art. Scorched tar and broken crates litter the pile where lightning strikes singed wooden chests and melted the edges of a few coins. Among the mundane wealth are a handful of useful magic items and crafted pieces that show a preference for storm and sea motifs. The party will find the pile large enough to fund new equipment, repairs, and at least one meaningful magic acquisition, though careful Bargain or fence work will be required to realize the full market value without drawing unwelcome attention.
