The treasure is not a simple monster hoard. The Messenger's Ring and courtly finery suggest that the cult maintained direct contact with powerful houses, while the rapier and spell archive belonged to the oni's role as both enforcer and advisor. Most of the wealth can be sold without difficulty, but the Crimson Patron Ledger and the horned jewelry may draw unwanted attention from noble agents, surviving cultists, or infernal interests. The cache is appropriate for a 10th-level Pathfinder party, offering substantial wealth, one strong permanent magical item, useful consumables, and several plot-bearing valuables without making the oni's hoard excessively generous.
