Ambush in the Lower Warrens

After flushing the goblin sentries from a narrow side tunnel the party encountered a makeshift camp where three goblins, their goblin boss, and a lone bugbear had been plotting raids. The goblins fought dirty with crude spears and traps while the bugbear tried to smash through ranks. The boss carried trophies and a small coin pouch, while the bugbear kept a heavy key and a few useful trade items. Among the spoils the party recovers everyday necessities, a useful enchanted strap, a reliably enchanted short sword, and a potion that will mend more serious wounds. Taken together the haul will cover immediate repairs, reward the party, and provide at least one clear plot hook to explore deeper into this dungeon.
