The Veiled Eye’s Fallen Congregation
Among the toppled stones of the ancient ruin, the defeated cultists lie amid scattered prayer slips, extinguished candles, and the brittle remains of their rites.
The tale
Among the toppled stones of the ancient ruin, the defeated cultists lie amid scattered prayer slips, extinguished candles, and the brittle remains of their rites. Their officers’ magical possessions were kept in a sealed reliquary beneath the altar, alongside offerings gathered from past visitors. The finds are potent but tightly tied to Vecna’s forbidden lore, and the skull-marked vessels suggest the cult had been searching the ruin for secrets rather than ordinary treasure.
