Vault of the Night-Bound

Behind a false wall in the vampire's private chamber the party found a small vaulted treasury where the vampire curated trophies, offerings, and wares gathered from decades of predation and manipulation. The true vampire kept few arms on its person but prized ritual objects, jewelry stolen from noble houses, and a cloak that seemed to sing with warding magics. Scattered about the vault were six crude bedrooms used by vampire spawn; each had small personal belongings and minor coin. The party recovered coin and gems sufficient to make the hunt worthwhile, found a potent cloak and a magical ring that radiate faint opposing lights, and removed a bloodstained blade and a ceremonial stake used by cultists long ago. Healers and templars would pay well for the anti-necrotic tinctures and the moonstone temple pieces, while the letter in the strongbox points to a regional feud that could become a new lead for the party.
