Battlefield Spoils at the Elk Clearing

The party found the elks near an old roadside skirmish site. The beasts were healthy but skittish, and after the fight the adventurers scoured the scene. In addition to fresh meat and hides from the two elks, there were signs that human combatants had passed through recently: a bent short spear, a muddied potion vial, and a small pouch of mixed coins half-buried in churned earth. The antlers and sinew promise materials for craftsmen among the party or value to haggle with local traders. The potion provides immediate aid while the hides, sinew, and salvaged spear offer material value for trade or crafting.
