Goblins in the Lower Bastion

After forcing open the dripping iron gate and chasing the last goblin into the shadow of the lower bastion, the party cleared two ramshackle rooms used as a forward camp. Five goblins and two orc raiders lay where they fell, tangled among overturned crates and a half-broken cart. The goblins had been stashing petty plunder and food; the orcs had brought heavier trade goods and crude weapons. Among the debris the party finds coin, a common healing potion likely pilfered from a traveling healer, basic weapons and armor suitable for low-level fighters, a handful of practical crafting scraps, and a few saleable gems and trinkets that will help pay for new supplies and services before the next delve.
