The tale
The dragon’s lair is strewn with the remnants of a vast hoard, its gold and gems dulled by a stain of black corruption. The fallen dragon’s attendants left little equipment worth salvaging, but scattered cult treasures, a relic of ancient faith, and potent magic remain beneath the wreckage. At the hoard’s heart, a legendary staff and dragon-scale armor survived the battle, their magic still bright beneath the lingering shadow.
