Its story
This colossal maul is forged from a seamless, dark alloy that drinks in torchlight. Its rectangular head is scored with fine, shifting lines that resemble continents seen from orbit. A blue-white point glows at the center of each face, and the haft is wrapped in a material as smooth and cold as polished stone. When lifted, the weapon seems to tug gently toward the ground, as if remembering the weight of a world.
Lore
Ancient star maps depict a hammer descending upon a blue world, surrounded by rings of measured light. Some cultures call the weapon a world-maker, others a world-killer. Its alien makers left no warning or instruction, only a repeated glyph that translates imperfectly as: 'Stone is only a beginning.'
History
The First Architects built the maul to fracture planetary crust and reshape lifeless worlds. It passed from their vanished hands into the vaults of several younger civilizations, each mistaking it for a divine weapon. In the last recorded use, its wielder split a mountain pass to save a city, leaving a glassy scar visible from the heavens.
