Its story
A fitted black-steel prosthetic forearm ends in a seamless, blood-red blade that slides from the wrist with a wet whisper. Silver veins thread the weapon's dark surface, pulsing faintly when blood is spilled nearby. The harness locks around the wearer's remaining forearm and is tailored to the stump, with padded leather and adjustable buckles. The blade can retract flush into the prosthesis, leaving a jointed metal hand that can grasp and manipulate objects.
Lore
Among collectors of necromantic curios, the Red Testament is remembered as a weapon that makes its bearer feel every victory in their own veins. Its concealed instructions have been sought by those who believe Kas intended it as a prototype for a greater weapon, and by those who fear what he planned to build next.
History
The armblade was recovered from a sealed physician's cabinet bearing no maker's mark. Folded inside its lining were several pages of precise, coded instructions for improving its blood-drawing channels. The handwriting was later identified as Kas's. The notes describe modifications, not a finished enchantment, and warn that each use should be measured against the cost to the wielder.
