Its story
A pair of close-fitting gloves woven from midnight-blue silk, articulated silver plates, and strands of glass-fine wire that glow like captured starlight. Each fingertip bears a tiny polished ring, and delicate runes move across the palms whenever a magical wire is near. When the wearer gestures, unseen tension seems to gather in the air, as though the world itself were a loom.
Lore
Legend claims every magical wire has a note in the great song of creation, and these gloves let their wearer pluck those notes by hand. They cannot make ordinary cord obey or conjure new strands; they are masters of what magic has already woven.
History
Ilyra Venn made the gloves to guide the enchanted suspension lines of a city she built above a bottomless chasm. After the city fell, the gloves passed between wire-sages, battlefield engineers, and thieves who learned that the artifact could command a magical snare as readily as a bridge cable.
