Its story
A matched pair of bronze bracers, warm as sunlit stone, each set with a dark red gem that glows like a coal beneath ash. Fine wave patterns wind around their rims. When flame kindles nearby, the engraved waves seem to ripple, and the air carries a faint scent of hot iron and sea salt.
Lore
Among scattered island ports, these bracers are remembered as a beacon for ships in peril. Their makers shaped the wave engravings to honor the sea, while the gems hold a controlled spark meant to keep fire at hand without letting it rule the wearer.
History
The bracers were made for a coastal fire-warden who guided ships through smoke and storm. Sailors later carried them between the northern Davanian islands, where their brief flare became a signal to steer clear of reefs and burning wreckage.
