Its story
This slender staff is carved from a single length of blue-white glacial crystal, its core threaded with silvery veins that shimmer like trapped auroras. A sculpted white dragon coils around its upper end, jaws open around a clear, heart-shaped ice gem. The staff never drips, even in warmth, and its grip is strangely comfortable despite the biting chill.
Lore
The Frostglass disciples taught that winter was not merely destruction, but patience made visible: a power that could preserve, shelter, or end a battle in a single breath. Their dragon queen's gifts embodied that lesson, sharpening a sorcerer's innate magic without demanding obedience or service.
History
Vaelthryx and Ilyr Voss made the first staves for sorcerers who studied under them in the Frostglass Spire. Each was a gift marking a disciple's mastery of disciplined magic. When the spire fell in a war between rival dragon factions, its surviving disciples scattered the staves across the North.
