A supple chain whip of dark, tightly linked steel, its narrow links polished until they gleam like a line of captured moonlight. The leather-wrapped hilt bears the inquisitorial squad's insignia: a golden spear encircled by three cords. When Skye Dowe strikes with it, a clean thread of golden radiance races along the chain and flares at the point of impact.
Lore
The three cords on the hilt represent the inquisitor's vows to seek truth, restrain injustice, and serve the Church. Squad tradition says the golden spear should be raised only against those who have first been given a chance to answer for their deeds.
History
Forged for the Brasterdenese Church's inquisitorial squad, the whip became the preferred weapon of Paladin Inquisitor Skye Dowe. Her exacting control turned its long reach into a warning: she could disarm a threat or deliver a precise blow before an enemy came close.
