Borka Dask
Commoner
Borka Dask
Species
Half-Orc
Appearance
Borka is a slim young half-orc with a soft, almost human-looking face that makes her small tusks seem like an afterthought. She has a broad, expressive mouth, a rounded chin, and cheeks that crease deeply when she smiles. Her movements are quick and economical, but she occupies more space than her narrow frame suggests because she leans into conversations, reaches across tables without hesitation, and plants her feet as if every room belongs to the person keeping it clean. Her hands are permanently roughened by lye, flour, hot water, and splintered handles. The unexpected thing about her is that she looks gentle enough to be mistaken for shy, yet her stillness during an argument is more intimidating than most people's shouting.
“Her voice is low, warm, and slightly husky, with a practical rhythm shaped by years of speaking over boiling kettles and crowded common rooms. She pronounces names carefully, softens apologies, and makes threats sound like household instructions.”

Distinguishing Features
Small, neatly filed tusks that show most clearly when she smiles.
A soft human-like face with unusually large, attentive eyes.
A green neckerchief with one corner permanently stiff from old candle wax.
A habit of leaning close enough that strangers feel as though they have known her for years.
The faded apron cord she rubs until the fibers have become smooth and shiny.
Voice
“A low, grainy alto that becomes gentle when speaking to children and frighteningly calm when confronting bullies.”
Clothing
A faded russet dress beneath a smoke-gray apron, both repeatedly patched with cloth cut from old flour sacks. She wears wool stockings, soft leather shoes, and a short green neckerchief belonging to her late father. The apron cord is worn nearly white where her fingers habitually rub it.
Body Language
Borka keeps her shoulders slightly forward as though bracing against a draft, but her feet remain square and stable. She often hooks one thumb through the frayed waist cord of her apron. When amused, she presses her lips together to hide a grin. When furious, she stops moving entirely and begins polishing whatever object is nearest.
