Kedren Naminsiyesh
Species
Bronze Dragonborn
Appearance
Kedren is a sleek young bronze dragonborn whose mirror-bright scales catch the blue-green lamplight like polished ship fittings. Fine ridges run from his brow to the back of his skull, each one carefully oiled, and his sharp amber eyes constantly move as though comparing the room against an invisible document. He moves with precise, economical grace, never quite turning his back on a door or a sealed cabinet. His claws are stained faintly violet from archival inks, and his spectacles are delicate enough to seem absurdly fragile on his powerful snout. The impression he leaves is of a court scholar, a lighthouse lens, and a coiled thunderstorm. The contradiction is striking: despite his immaculate grooming and ceremonial courtesy, one side of his collar is often damp with seawater from secret visits to the flooded lower vaults.
“Measured, resonant, and scholarly, with immaculate diction. His voice becomes softer when discussing secrets and develops a faint harmonic doubling near the tide-chime vaults.”

Distinguishing Features
A thin lightning-shaped scar runs from his left jaw to the base of his neck, a remnant of the Black Silt Inquest.
His spectacles have lenses made from translucent tideglass that briefly reveal hidden ink.
His brass archive keys are individually engraved with dates rather than labels.
He carries a faint scent of ozone, salt, lamp oil, and violet ink.
His reflection sometimes appears to turn its head a fraction of a second before he does.
Voice
“A warm baritone with a faint metallic resonance, like a bell heard through seawater. When his excitement overwhelms his restraint, a soft crackle of static accompanies certain consonants.”
Clothing
A tailored, high-collared academic robe of deep indigo, trimmed in silver embroidery depicting waves, eyes, and closed books. Beneath it he wears a fitted charcoal vest, waterproof gloves, soft-soled archive shoes, and a belt crowded with brass keys, wax seals, ink vials, and tiny labeled instruments.
Body Language
Kedren keeps his shoulders relaxed and his hands folded behind his back during negotiations, but one claw repeatedly taps a silent rhythm against his wrist when he hears a lie. When excited, he leans forward without realizing it, spectacles sliding down his snout. When truly angry, he becomes perfectly still.
