Appearance
A slim, athletic young woman with light olive skin and the compact, tensile musculature of someone raised on steep roads. Her forearms are bare and corded, her knuckles and nose permanently wind-reddened. She has rounded cheeks, a small chin, and enormous glossy deep-brown eyes that appear gentle until they settle on a threat. Her severe braided crown is dark chestnut, but rebellious curls escape around both ears and tremble whenever she is annoyed. She moves with the poised economy of a hunting cat, never quite standing still, yet she takes up more space than her narrow frame suggests because her attention seems to occupy the whole room. She smells faintly of pine resin, cold iron, blue wool, and the reddish mineral dust worked into her palms. The contradictory impression is striking: she looks soft-faced and almost scholarly until she lifts her shield, at which point every motion becomes brutally practical.
“Her voice is low, clear, and slightly husky from cold mountain air. She speaks with careful pauses, as though placing stones in a stable wall.”

Voice
“Low, clear, and slightly husky, with a calm mountain cadence that becomes clipped and precise under stress.”
Clothing
A practical chain shirt beneath a forest-green half-cloak, charcoal trousers tucked into weathered brown boots, and a wine-red sash tied twice around her waist. A blue wool scarf is wrapped loosely at her throat. A copper compass hangs from a cord beside a worn longsword, while a quiver and longbow rest across her back. Her chain shirt is patched with mismatched links, each repair made after a different journey.
Body Language
Her shoulders remain loose, but her weight is always balanced over the balls of her feet. She angles her body toward open space, keeps one hand near her sword or shield, and leans slightly forward when listening. When embarrassed, she rubs her thumb across the compass lid until the copper squeaks.
