Shesuri Vashna
Fallen Solar, former Celestial Commander
Shesuri Vashna
Species
Celestial, fallen angel
Appearance
Shesuri looks like a man sculpted from moonlit bronze and then left too long beneath a winter sky. His skin has a fine, dry texture like polished clay dusted with silver, while faint lines of old celestial script show beneath it whenever he is angry. His hair is long, black, and threaded with naturally white strands that drift upward even in still air. Six wings emerge from his back in three uneven pairs. The upper pair is broad and pearl-feathered, the middle pair is narrow and smoke-gray, and the lowest pair resembles translucent sheets of blue glass veined with gold. He moves with unsettling economy, never quite shifting his weight before turning, as though gravity is a suggestion he has learned to tolerate. His hands are immediately memorable: the palms are callused and darkened from centuries of gripping a sword hilt, but the fingertips are soft and ink-stained from writing names into memorial books. Contradictorily, for a being who once commanded celestial armies, he smells faintly of cedar smoke, wet wool, and ordinary bread. People remember him less as radiant than as impossible to ignore, like a silent bell heard inside the ribs.
“His speech is low, breathy, and carefully articulated, with soft sibilants that lengthen at the ends of sentences. He speaks like someone translating from a language where every word carries legal weight.”

Distinguishing Features
His lowest pair of wings are translucent and ring softly when struck by rain.
The inside of his left forearm is covered in tiny handwritten names, many faded by repeated washing.
His right hand has two gold-colored nails that never grow and were once part of his command seal.
A red celestial mantle is worn smooth exactly where his left hand grips it.
Small flakes of ash rise from his shoulders whenever he hears a prayer asking for victory.
Voice
“A deep, breathy baritone with a soft hiss on sibilants, like wind passing through a stone shrine. In battle, it becomes clear and resonant enough to be heard through thunder. When he says the names of the dead, his voice drops almost to a whisper.”
Clothing
A sleeveless charcoal coat layered over a high-collared linen tunic, both repaired with visible stitches. He wears a broad woven sash patterned with small suns, broken chains, and mountain flowers. Over one shoulder hangs a weathered red command mantle, its gold embroidery rubbed nearly flat where his left hand repeatedly grips it. His feet are wrapped in soft leather sandals rather than armored greaves.
Body Language
Shesuri keeps his wings folded tightly around himself when indoors, making his large frame appear almost cramped. He rests two fingers against the worn edge of his sword guard when listening to a lie. When someone speaks sincerely, the lowest glasslike wing opens a few inches before he notices and closes it again.
