Kazhir al-Sahen
Fighter, Battle Master
Kazhir al-Sahen
Species
Elf
Appearance
Kazhir is tall and spare, built like a spear shaft carved from old bone. His skin is sun-browned to a deep copper and dusted with pale scars that look almost chalk-white in the heat. His black hair is shaved close at the sides and gathered into a short topknot bound with red cord, while one lock at his temple has turned silver from an old lightning strike. He moves with controlled stillness, except when angered, when he becomes startlingly swift. He wears a heavy desert warcloak over lacquered lamellar armor, but the cloak is lined with bright rebel embroidery hidden inside, an unexpected flash of color beneath his severe exterior.
“Low, economical, and dry as old parchment. He rarely wastes words, but when he does speak, he uses exact phrasing and deliberate pauses.”

A hidden lining of rebel embroidery inside an otherwise severe warcloak
One finger permanently stained blue from poison ink used on sealed orders
Voice
“Baritone, hushed, and sandpaper steady, with a faint caravan accent and the habit of ending sentences as if issuing orders he expects the world to obey.”

Layered desert armor of lacquered leather and bronze scales, a sand-gray warcloak, wrapped forearms, soft boots stitched for quiet movement, and a ceremonial sash of faded crimson that marks his former office as warlord
Body Language
He stands straight-backed with hands clasped behind him until a threat appears, then his shoulders lower and his weight shifts like a drawn blade. In conversation he tilts his head only slightly, giving the impression of patience under strain. When he lies, his fingers stop moving entirely.
