Appearance
Kuta looks carved rather than born, all narrow planes, sharp wrists, and long fingers that seem slightly too deliberate in their movements. His skin has the muted violet-gray tone of storm clouds over high stone, textured with fine horizontal ridges along his temples and collarbones. He walks with a careful forward lean, as if listening to the ground through the soles of his feet. His face is severe at first glance, but his smile is unexpectedly broad and boyish. He keeps one shoulder wrapped in a faded red wool shawl even in warm weather, and the cloth is always dusted with pale flour from the bakery where he works. His most unsettling feature is a small patch of ordinary warm-brown skin over his heart, a mark he conceals whenever possible.
“His speech is precise, low, and rhythmically measured. He often leaves a pause before important words, as though testing whether the room agrees with him.”

Distinguishing Features
A concealed patch of warm-brown skin over his heart, unlike the rest of his violet-gray complexion.
A thin silver scar running from his left ear to the corner of his mouth.
Fingertips stained permanently ochre from handling enchanted soil.
A red wool shawl that smells faintly of yeast, rain, and cold iron.
His shadow occasionally shows thin roots when he is angry.
Voice
“A dry baritone with a faint rasp, like a stone dragged across pottery. When the patron speaks through him, a second voice arrives half a heartbeat late, whispering from somewhere below the listener's feet.”
Clothing
A smoke-brown linen tunic, fitted dark trousers, soft leather climbing shoes, a faded red highland-style wool shawl, and a narrow bronze belt hung with measuring spoons, chalk, and prayer cords. His sleeves are patched with scraps of blue cloth marked with githzerai geometric notation.
Body Language
Kuta keeps his hands folded behind his back when calm, but spreads his fingers wide when lying. He rarely turns his head fully toward a speaker, preferring to angle one ear toward them. In combat, he becomes almost still, with only his eyes and fingertips moving.
