Appearance
Garnet is a young shifter woman with warm tawny-brown skin softened by a fine layer of darker fur along her forearms, shoulders, and the backs of her hands. Her large pointed animal ears tilt toward whoever is speaking, often giving away her attention before her face does. She has a small broad animal-like nose, warm brown eyes, and thick dark-brown curls gathered into a carefully decorated updo. Braids, colored cords, feathers, beads, and tiny bells are woven through it, yet she moves with such quiet precision that the bells rarely sound. Pale blue-white paint marks her forehead, cheeks, and upper arms in branching patterns resembling river deltas or roots.
