Eiravel Vashan
Druid, Circle of the Shepherd
Eiravel Vashan
Species
Eladrin
Appearance
Lady Eiravel is a tall eladrin woman whose movements are unnervingly economical. She walks with her weight slightly forward, as if every floor were a living root that might shift beneath her, and she turns her whole body before turning her head. Her skin has the warm brown tone of polished walnut, dusted with tiny gold-green flecks that brighten when she casts a spell. Her hair falls in dense, waist-length coils, black at the roots and fading into the copper-red of autumn leaves. Small white flowers grow naturally among the coils, blooming or closing according to her mood. Her face is composed and severe until she laughs, at which point she becomes startlingly young. The contradictory impression is immediate: she looks capable of commanding an army of spirits, yet keeps a careful collection of brightly painted wooden animal charms tied to her belt like a child's treasure.
“Her voice is low, melodic, and deliberate, with unexpected stress on ordinary words. She speaks as though reciting an old road song remembered imperfectly, and her sentences often end with a quiet question even when she is issuing an order.”

Distinguishing Features
Tiny gold-green flecks shimmer beneath her skin when she is angry or casting magic.
White flowers grow in her hair and change species with the season.
She smells faintly of rain on warm stone, crushed saffron, and green citrus.
She carries brightly painted wooden animal charms that look childish beside her severe ceremonial clothing.
Her shadow occasionally moves half a heartbeat before she does.
Voice
“A low contralto with a warm rasp, like wind moving through dry reeds. When angered, she becomes softer rather than louder, forcing everyone nearby to lean closer.”
Clothing
She wears layered robes of moss-green linen, saffron silk, and deep plum wool, cut for movement and reinforced with braided vine fiber. A mantle of pale leaves hangs from her shoulders without ever wilting. Her boots are soft-soled and wrapped in red thread, while a narrow brass belt holds painted wooden charms, pruning shears, seed packets, and a ceremonial knife.
Body Language
She stands almost perfectly still while listening, one palm resting lightly against her sternum. When deciding whether to trust someone, she tilts her chin toward the nearest living plant rather than looking directly at them. Her hands become restless only when her brother is mentioned.
