Ordana Vale
Species
Half-Orc
Appearance
Ordana Vale is a weathered half-orc woman with the controlled stillness of someone who has spent decades waiting for gunfire. Her skin is a deep green so dark it appears almost black in shade, with a dry, finely textured grain around her knuckles and temples from years of sun, dust, and alkali wind. One tusk has been cut short and capped with silver, the cap worn dull at its center where she worries it with her tongue when thinking. Her long dark-blue duster moves like a heavy curtain behind her, its silver trim flashing only when she turns. She waits with most of her weight settled onto her right heel, left boot angled toward the nearest exit. Despite her intimidating height and scarred patrol-worn hands, she has an unexpectedly delicate habit of smoothing dust from other people's collars before questioning them.
“Her voice is low, dry, and slightly rasped by dust and cigars. She speaks with deliberate pauses, clipped frontier phrasing, and an undercurrent of old caravan idiom.”

Distinguishing Features
One tusk is cut short and capped with silver, the cap visibly worn where she worries it with her tongue.
Old patrol scars ladder across both forearms and disappear beneath her sleeves, more numerous than dramatic.
She carries a silver-chained pocket watch that loses exactly four minutes every day.
Her waiting posture always places her weight on her right heel with her left boot pointed toward an exit.
She leaves behind the smell of cold cigar smoke, gun oil, and rain on hot stone.
Voice
“A smoky contralto with a dry rasp, controlled volume, and a habit of dropping into a near whisper when saying something dangerous”
Clothing
A long dark-blue duster with silver trim, a dark-blue waistcoat edged in silver, dark-blue trousers with matching trim, polished but dust-stained riding boots, a dark-blue broad-brimmed hat with a silver hat band, and a silver-chained pocket watch tucked into her waistcoat. A stub of cigar usually rests at the corner of her mouth.
Body Language
Ordana stands squarely but never evenly, resting on her right heel with her left side loose for a draw. She angles her silver-capped tusk toward people she distrusts and lowers her chin when listening. Her hands remain relaxed until someone mentions the Cinder Crown, when her thumb begins rubbing the worn leather seam of her revolver holster.
