Appearance
Siofra stands rigidly upright even when exhausted, as if an invisible line runs from the crown of her head through her spine into the wet cobbles beneath her boots. She is slim and athletic, built for climbing fences, drawing a bow, and carrying burdens rather than overpowering enemies. Her pale ivory skin is dusted with warm freckles across her nose, shoulders, and collarbones, while faint bowstring calluses mark her bare forearms. Uneven dark-brown hair hangs to her jaw and repeatedly falls across one eye, though she rarely brushes it away. Her deep brown eyes hold a quiet amber warmth near the pupils, but they do not wander like a watchman's. She studies doorways, hands, rooflines, and who is standing too close to whom. Her narrow jaw, straight nose, and pressed lips suggest severity until she smiles, which happens suddenly and makes her look much younger. The unexpected contradiction is her hands: scarred, work-rough, and always ready near a weapon, yet she handles small animals and fragile objects with startling gentleness. When waiting, she rests most of her weight on the balls of her feet, never her heels, making stillness look like restrained motion.
“Low, clipped, and practical, with a soft rural cadence that becomes almost formal when she is angry. She rarely wastes words, but her silences are deliberate rather than hesitant.”

Distinguishing Features
Two plain bronze bangles that she rolls together whenever she is thinking or resisting anger
A faded blue watch armband worn despite the destruction of the watchhouse
A habit of standing on the balls of her feet, giving her stillness a poised, almost predatory quality
Freckles scattered across her nose, shoulders, and collarbones
She notices hands before faces and can often identify a person's trade from their grip and fingernails
Voice
“A low contralto with a weathered softness, like speech heard through rain against a shutter. Her words become precise and almost cold when she is afraid.”
Clothing
A charcoal half-cloak hangs over a fitted chain shirt darkened by rain. Beneath it she wears a practical linen shirt, dark trousers reinforced at the knees, and soft-soled boots that make little noise on wood or mud. A rust-red sash carries her plain longsword, utility knife, belt pouch, and a small whetstone. A faded blue armband circles her upper left arm, the old mark of Cwm Glas watchmen. A worn leather bow case and quiver sit subtly behind her shoulder.
Body Language
Siofra holds herself straight and slightly forward, as though bracing against wind. Her shoulders remain relaxed until someone mentions children, taxes, or the village watch. She rolls two plain bronze bangles together when thinking, producing a soft, repetitive chime. In conversation, she keeps her hands visible but positions one foot toward the nearest exit. She rarely looks directly at the most powerful person in a room. Instead, she watches the person everyone else is watching.
