Sheshka Sazhur
Fighter
Sheshka Sazhur
Species
Goblin
Appearance
Sheshka is a compact goblin woman with a long, pear-shaped head, sharp cheekbones, and a mouth full of small ivory teeth that show whenever she concentrates. Her movements are quick but not frantic. She pivots on the balls of her feet like someone accustomed to narrow walkways and crowded market stalls. Her hands are unusually broad for a goblin, with thickened fingertips, blackened nail beds, and tiny heat blisters from years of tending forge fires and signal braziers. She wears her uniform with military seriousness, yet the sleeves are too long and continually hide her hands. The contradictory impression is immediate: she looks like a feral little raider until she straightens her collar, checks the alignment of a gate hinge, and politely asks whether a visitor has eaten.
“Her voice is breathy and surprisingly measured, with soft sibilants that become clipped commands under pressure. She speaks Common carefully, as if each word were a nail being driven into wood, but her Goblin becomes rapid, musical, and full of teasing repetitions when she is relaxed.”

Distinguishing Features
Broad, heat-hardened hands with darkened fingertips and tiny circular burn marks.
One over-cared-for brass button at her throat, polished until it reflects firelight.
Her ears are pierced with small iron washers, each stamped with the name of a place where she once worked.
She smells faintly of lamp oil, hot metal, and cinnamon bread.
She pauses to inspect hinges, latches, and knots whenever she enters a building.
Voice
“A low, dry contralto for a goblin, with a faint rasp like cloth dragged across a metal grate. Her laughter is a single explosive bark that she immediately tries to hide.”
Clothing
A patched leather watch coat dyed dark green, a dented iron breastplate worn over a quilted vest, and a red wool sash inherited from her mother. The coat's left sleeve has been carefully re-stitched with pale blue thread, while the rest of the uniform is patched with mismatched cloth. Her boots are too large and stuffed with folded felt. She keeps one immaculate brass button at her throat, polished every morning before patrol.
Body Language
She stands with her chin lifted and one foot angled toward the nearest exit. Her fingers tap the rim of her shield when she is suspicious, while genuine affection makes her ears tilt outward and her shoulders drop. When lying, she becomes unnaturally formal and folds both hands inside her sleeves.
