Shesaya Sachi
Fighter
Shesaya Sachi
Species
Human
Appearance
A slim, wiry young woman with warm brown, wind-chapped skin and a narrow face sharpened by high mountain air. Sun freckles scatter across her nose like spilled millet. Her deep brown eyes carry small amber flecks that catch in overcast light. Uneven shoulder-length black hair has been hacked short with a knife and constantly blows across one side of her mouth, revealing slightly crowded front teeth whenever her guarded half-smile slips. She leans subtly forward even while standing still, as if bracing against a permanent uphill wind. Her movements are quiet, economical, and spring-loaded, with her weight kept on the balls of her feet. The unexpected softness is in her hands, which are broad-palmed and meticulously clean despite their cracked knuckles and ingrained weapon oil.
“Her voice is low, breathy, and slightly sibilant, with softened consonants and a faint highland cadence. She speaks as though conserving air in thin weather.”

Distinguishing Features
Her black hair is unevenly hacked with a knife and repeatedly falls across one side of her mouth.
A faded red spiral made from overlapping iron nail heads decorates her rawhide shield.
Her breathing is nearly silent when calm, but becomes a soft, audible hiss when she is frightened or angry.
She has unusually clean, carefully maintained fingernails despite cracked hands and weather-stained skin.
She wears the broken belt clasp of a dead enemy beneath her collar, hidden from casual view.
Voice
“Quiet, breathy, and dryly melodic, with a soft hiss on s and sh sounds. Her voice becomes warmer around frightened people and colder around officials.”
Clothing
A dented patched chain shirt worn over a faded rust-red tunic, torn charcoal trousers, wrapped wool leggings, cracked leather boots, and a gray cloak fastened with a bone toggle. Every tear has been repaired with neat contrasting stitches in ochre, crimson, or pale blue thread. Her clothing looks poor at first glance, but every repair is deliberate and structurally sound.
Body Language
Shesaya keeps her shield arm slightly forward, not aggressively, but as if protecting the space between herself and everyone else. She crouches a little when listening. Her head tilts toward unfamiliar sounds, and her thumb repeatedly finds the same raised nail on her shield rim when she is worried.
