Aremas Greenshield
Fighter, Battle Master
Aremas Greenshield
Species
Orc
Appearance
Aremas is a massive orc with a weathered, almost architectural presence. His shoulders are broad enough to make doorways seem narrow, but he moves with careful economy, placing each foot as if measuring a battlefield beneath him. His green-gray skin is rough along the forearms and unusually smooth across the cheeks, where old ritual oils have stained the pores a faint copper color. One tusk is broken halfway down and capped with a tiny brass ring. His face suggests an angry statue until he smiles, which is startlingly gentle and makes him look younger. He carries himself like a fortress, yet his hands tremble slightly whenever someone mentions fathers, oaths, or winter feasts.
“Low, deliberate, and resonant, with careful pauses between important words. His Common is formal but not elegant, while his Orcish becomes rapid and musical when he is angry or speaking about home.”

Distinguishing Features
A broken lower tusk capped with a brass ring.
A long white scar from his right temple to the corner of his mouth.
A faint green glow appears beneath his fingernails whenever the demon is near.
His left palm bears a circular burn shaped like a closed eye.
He wears a silver kitchen spoon on his belt despite otherwise carrying only military equipment.
Voice
“A deep baritone with a dry rasp, like stones shifting beneath a gate. He rarely raises it, which makes the rare shout feel like a physical blow.”
Clothing
A dark green half-cloak over a battered suit of blackened plate, with strips of faded yellow cloth tied around the left vambrace. Beneath the armor he wears a plain wool tunic sewn from three different uniforms belonging to dead comrades. His boots are practical and mud-stained, while his belt carries an absurdly delicate silver spoon from his mother's kitchen.
Body Language
Usually stands with his glaive planted beside him and both hands resting over its haft. When relaxed, he leans slightly toward people as if listening with his whole body. When lying, he folds his left thumb into his palm and stares at the floor. In combat, his movements become startlingly quiet, with no wasted flourish until the instant he commits to a strike.
