Aureth Veyl
Deity
Aureth Veyl
Species
Outsider
Appearance
Aureth is striking in a way that never settles into simple beauty. Her skin looks like polished pearl seen through candle smoke, faintly warm to the eye, and it seems to hold a soft inner dusk beneath the surface. Her hair falls in long waves of pale gold threaded with darker, ember-colored strands, always moving as if stirred by a breeze no one else can feel. One eye is molten amber, the other a clear winter blue, an unexpected contradiction that makes her gaze feel both intimate and judicial. She wears layered vestments of ivory linen, burnished bronze, and deep rose silk, yet the fabric is surprisingly plain at the seams, as if she values function more than splendor. Around her wrists and throat are thin chains of prayer beads and small gate charms, and when she walks she moves with the calm certainty of someone guarding a door that must never be left unlatched. Her presence leaves the impression of a sanctuary that can become a fortress in the same breath.
“Low, clear, and deliberate, as if every sentence is a vow being placed carefully on a table.”
