Appearance
Bard looks like someone assembled from sunset, river mist, and old festival ribbons. Their skin holds a pearly warmth like polished shell, but one hand is ink-dark as if dipped in moonlit soot. They move with a dancer's lightness and a beggar's caution, never quite still, shoulders loose, head tilted as though listening to a joke only the world can tell. Their smile is bright and knowing, while their left horn is chipped, giving the unsettling impression of divinity that has been into trouble and lost on purpose. When they laugh, tiny sparks of gold flicker in the air around their mouth, but their eyes can turn solemn enough to make even proud kings lower their voices.
“Soft, quick, and musical, with an affectionate habit of turning solemn statements into jokes and jokes into prayers.”

Distinguishing Features
A chipped left horn wrapped in thin blue thread
One hand permanently stained black as if by holy soot
A faint halo that appears only in reflected surfaces
A laugh that leaves gold motes hanging in the air
A small scar across the throat that glows when they speak a true name
Voice
“Warm, low, and vividly expressive, with the texture of a storyteller who has spent centuries learning when to whisper and when to ring like a bell”
Clothing
Layered travel robes under a weatherproof mantle stitched with tiny silver bells that never ring at the same time. Their sash is patched from half a dozen pilgrimages, and one boot is always cleaner than the other, as if they step through a different world before entering a room.
Body Language
Leans in too close when curious, folds one arm behind their back when lying, and taps two fingers against their wrist when listening for divine omens.
