Rix
Sorcerer
Rix
Species
Tiefling
Appearance
Rix is a dusky-skinned tiefling young woman with narrow feline pupils, small swept-back horns, pointed catlike ears, and two neat white fangs that show whenever she grins. Her movements are quick, soft, and indecently confident, with a rolling shoulder sway that makes her seem perpetually ready to pounce. Her black hair is cropped close on one side and falls in a tousled copper-brown wave over the other. A thin tail curls behind her like a question mark, often betraying her mood before her face does. She looks cute at first glance, almost doll-like, but the stillness that overtakes her when frightened is unnervingly predatory. The unexpected contradiction is her hands: scarred, ink-stained, and rough from years of repairing farm tools, they look more suited to a blacksmith than a mischievous street urchin.
“Quick, musical, and full of sudden pauses. Rix stretches the last word of a sentence when teasing, drops into a low purr when bargaining, and becomes unnervingly precise when angry.”

Distinguishing Features
Bright golden eyes with narrow vertical pupils.
Small swept-back horns, one decorated with a single copper bead.
A long expressive tail with a white tip.
Two small white fangs visible when she smiles.
A pale lightning-shaped birthmark beneath her right collarbone.
Her shadow occasionally flicks its tail a heartbeat after she does.
Voice
“A warm, husky contralto with a playful rasp, like a purring cat trying not to laugh. Under stress, her voice becomes very small and formal, which is more alarming than shouting.”
Clothing
A faded plum blouse with rolled sleeves, patched russet trousers, a short cream vest, and soft leather ankle boots. She wears only a copper bead threaded onto one horn and a red stitch around her left wrist, both gifts from her mother.
Body Language
Rix leans forward when interested, circles people instead of standing squarely before them, and sits on the edge of furniture with her heels tucked beneath her. Her tail lashes during arguments and wraps around her ankle when she is ashamed. When truly angry, all feline playfulness disappears and she becomes perfectly motionless.
