Mireko Ndamu
Noble, 15th-level Enchantment Wizard
Mireko Ndamu
Species
High Elf
Appearance
Mireko is a slender high elf whose elegance has been softened by years of travel through wet woodland. His posture is immaculate, but when waiting he places nearly all his weight on the balls of his feet, as if prepared to step around an argument rather than confront it. His skin has the muted bronze tone of polished cedar, and his long hair falls in dense, carefully maintained coils threaded with tiny white seeds. His hands are unusually broad and calloused for a courtier, with soil permanently settled beneath the nails. He moves quietly but not delicately, making each turn with the grounded confidence of a dancer who learned balance from tree roots. The unexpected contradiction is his smile, which is warm and almost boyish, while his stillness can make a crowded room feel as if it has become a courtroom.
“Mireko speaks in calm, carefully shaped sentences with frequent pauses. He prefers precise metaphors drawn from gardens, weather, roots, and watercourses.”

Distinguishing Features
A pale crescent birthmark circles the base of his neck like a thin painted collar.
His hair is threaded with white seeds that rattle softly when he turns his head.
His fingernails are kept short but permanently darkened by garden soil.
He carries a silverwood cane that is actually a narrow, leaf-shaped blade.
He smells faintly of rainwater, cedar bark, and crushed mint.
Voice
“A low, warm baritone with a soft rasp at the edges, like seeds poured into a wooden bowl. He rarely raises his volume, yet people across a room instinctively quiet themselves to hear him.”
Clothing
He wears layered moss-green, cream, and muted saffron robes beneath a fitted sleeveless diplomatic coat. The coat is fastened with carved seed clasps, each representing a treaty Lassten has kept. His cuffs are lined with washable linen because he refuses to stop tending plants during court sessions. A broad sash holds scroll tubes, chalk, and three small packets of medicinal soil.
Body Language
He keeps his shoulders relaxed and his hands visible, often resting two fingers lightly on the head of his cane. When listening, he tilts his head as though judging the weather. In anger, he becomes almost motionless except for a slow rubbing of his thumb across a seed ring.
