Species

Appearance
Zsófia is a young human woman with light bronze skin, clear youthful features, and watchful dark hazel eyes flecked with amber. Her gaze rarely rests on the speaker's face. It moves instead to doorways, hands, windows, and the people standing behind the conversation, as if she is constantly measuring who might need protection. She stands upright and compact, with her weight subtly pitched forward, giving the impression that she is already moving toward danger. Her many narrow black braids are tied with russet thread and sway like fine cords when she turns. Her movements are economical and quiet, even in armor. The unexpected contradiction is that her hands are remarkably delicate and ink-stained, with carefully trimmed nails suited to miniature painting rather than swordplay. People tend to remember her stillness first, then realize that she has quietly placed herself between them and every possible threat.
“Her voice is low, clear, and carefully paced, with soft rounded vowels and occasional Levantine Arabic and Hungarian inflections. She speaks as though every sentence should be useful to someone.”

Distinguishing Features
Many narrow black braids tied with russet thread
Dark hazel eyes with amber flecks that constantly track exits and hands
Ink stains along the sides of her fingers despite her life as a warrior
A battered shield marked with an abstract sheaf of wheat
A fine gold chain hidden beneath her collar

Voice
“A calm contralto with a faintly musical cadence, gentle in ordinary conversation and suddenly authoritative when someone is in danger”
Clothing
A finely tailored russet riding coat with antique-gold piping, a cream linen shirt, fitted brown trousers, polished riding boots, and a saffron-lined travel cloak. Every garment is subtly dust-stained but carefully repaired. A fine gold chain disappears beneath her collar, carrying a hidden signet. Her battered steel shield bears only an abstract sheaf of wheat.
Body Language
Zsófia keeps her shoulders relaxed but angles her shield side toward strangers. She stands close enough to protect people but far enough away that they do not feel handled. When someone lies, she does not stare them down. She looks briefly at their hands, then begins quietly repositioning everyone in the room. When genuinely angry, she becomes almost motionless, with her thumb pressed against the sword's worn russet grip.
