Victar Cosalia
Species
Human
Appearance
Victar Cosalia is a tall, ghost-pale human knight wrapped in fine black and grey plate armor that seems to drink in candlelight. His armor is narrow at the waist and broad at the shoulders, giving him the silhouette of a ceremonial executioner rather than a battlefield bruiser. The steel is polished to a cold graphite sheen, but its edges are worn smooth by years of rain, ash, and saddle leather. His movements are unnervingly economical. He does not turn his whole head when someone speaks, and he stands so still that people often notice his breathing before they notice him moving. Unexpectedly, despite his vampiric pallor and grim armor, Victar keeps a small red wool ribbon tied around his left wrist, faded and carefully washed. He smells faintly of iron, dried rosemary, and wet stone.
“His voice is a controlled baritone with a faint rasp, as if he is speaking through old smoke. He articulates every word clearly and almost never raises his volume.”

Distinguishing Features
His armor makes almost no noise when he moves, even over stone.
His breath is visibly cold in ordinary rooms, though he does not appear to feel the chill.
He has unusually pale knuckles marked by faint grey lines resembling veins of graphite.
The red wool ribbon on his wrist is the only bright color he wears.
When startled, his voice briefly drops into a dry whisper before returning to its controlled baritone.
Voice
“A low, restrained military baritone with a dry rasp. His breathing is almost inaudible when calm, but becomes deliberate and sharply controlled when rattled.”
Clothing
Fine black and grey plate armor over a charcoal gambeson, a high-collared grey cloak fastened by a dull silver clasp, black riding boots, iron gauntlets, and a faded red wool ribbon tied around his left wrist. His armor bears no personal heraldry, only a small vertical mark resembling a split pomegranate.
Body Language
Victar stands with his hands folded behind his back and his weight balanced over the balls of his feet. He rarely gestures broadly. When angered, his breathing becomes slow and audible through his nose, while one armored thumb rubs repeatedly over the red ribbon at his wrist. When frightened, he becomes even more still rather than retreating.
