Ozzie Eberon

Ozzie Eberon
Species
Human
Appearance
Ozzie looks like a man who has just stepped out of a chimney during a thunderstorm. His skin is warm brown with a faint metallic sheen around the knuckles, throat, and temples, as though silver dust has settled beneath it. His dark hair is tied into a long, practical ponytail with copper wire, though several loose strands perpetually drift upward in air that is otherwise still. Thin smoke leaks from the corners of his mouth when he is amused, and his shadow sometimes trails a half-second behind him. He moves with loose, dancer-like confidence, never quite planting both feet at once. The contradictory impression he leaves is of someone physically insubstantial but impossible to overlook, a laughing man who feels like a locked door.
“His voice is a smooth baritone with a rough edge like a match striking stone. He speaks quickly when performing confidence and slowly when telling the truth.”

Distinguishing Features
A thin silver line runs from his left eyebrow to the corner of his mouth, brightening when he sees a possible future.
Smoke leaks from his mouth when he laughs hard.
His shadow sometimes moves a heartbeat later than he does.
The nails of his left hand are naturally silver and faintly warm.
He has a small burn scar shaped like a crescent around his right wrist.
Voice
“A smoky, amused baritone that can turn suddenly flat when Ozzie is frightened or angry. He sounds intimate even when threatening someone, as if sharing a private joke with death.”
Clothing
A charcoal longcoat with a high collar, stitched inside with silver thread and lined in faded red silk. Beneath it he wears a sleeveless gray vest, a loose black shirt, fingerless gloves, fitted trousers, and soft-soled boots. A battered copper clasp holds his ponytail. His clothing smells faintly of rain, burnt sugar, and old metal.
Body Language
Ozzie leans against walls as though gravity is a negotiation. He gestures with two fingers when shaping smoke, rolls one shoulder before casting, and keeps his left hand near his ribs where an old spear wound aches. When someone mentions family, his posture closes for one heartbeat before the grin returns.
