Brunarra Ironthrum
Barbarian (Path of the Berserker)
Brunarra Ironthrum
Species
Mountain Dwarf
Appearance
Short but hulking, Brunarra moves like a coiled hammer. Her beard is braided tightly into practical plaits interwoven with thin iron wire and a single strip of crimson cloth taken from a fallen banner—she keeps it as a vow. Her face is a map of hammer marks and faint, pale burn scars that shine slightly when she smiles. Her hands are calloused, knuckle-browned and ringless; she wears a single iron band around her index finger that fits like a seal. She favors leaving her shoulders bare, revealing a tattooed knotwork of her clan and a crude tally of victories burned into her skin. Unexpectedly, she carries a child's wooden token — a small carved bird — tucked behind her ear on the left side, and it chirks faintly when she laughs. When she walks through crowds she pushes forward with an unhurried, inexorable gait: deliberate, grounding, and somehow comforting until she stops and the room feels like lightning.
“Gruff and succinct, with a slow, chopping cadence. Uses smithing metaphors and numbers.”

Distinguishing Features
Braided beard with a crimson thread from a fallen banner
Burn-scarred face and tattooed clan knotwork on the left shoulder
Tiny carved wooden bird tucked behind her ear
Missing tip of the right index finger (old smithing accident)
Voice
“Low, gravelly, with a metallic edge; rises easily into a commanding roar but can drop into a narrow whisper when confessing guilt.”
Clothing
A sleeveless leather jerkin patched with pieces of salvaged mail, a crimson sash worn like a belt from the city guard, heavy leather bracers scorched at the edges, and grease-dark trousers tucked into iron-toed boots. Over her left shoulder hangs a shortened, battered pauldron stamped with the crest of the armoury — taken as a statement. She keeps a dirty, faded child's scarf tied to her belt.
Body Language
Rooted stance, hands often on hips or wrapped around her axe haft; she taps or traces metal surfaces when thinking; moves to close distance deliberately and stands slightly angled to read a crowd.
