Zsóka
Species
Copper Dragonborn
Appearance
Zsóka is a young copper dragonborn with a broad, expressive muzzle and scales that shift from apricot at the throat to bright verdigris along her shoulders, elbows, and tail. Her scales are not glossy and pristine. They carry the matte, chalky texture of someone who spends every day outdoors, with tiny pale flecks of mineral dust caught between them. She moves with a springy, forward-leaning gait, as if perpetually crossing a stream on stepping stones. Her eyes rarely settle on a speaker's face. Instead, they track hands, doorways, rooflines, wagons, and the spaces beneath tables. This makes her seem suspicious until she suddenly focuses on someone with startling warmth. She wears a sunny yellow scarf despite hating heat, and her gentle habit of humming nursery tunes becomes unexpectedly intimidating when she is angry.
“Her voice is warm, clear, and slightly rasping, with clipped consonants and a habit of turning statements into practical questions. She speaks Common fluently but occasionally rearranges phrases in a way that makes ordinary advice sound proverb-like.”

Distinguishing Features
A row of tiny brass rings is fitted into the scales along her left forearm, each one engraved with the name of a road marker.
Her tail leaves a neat side-to-side groove in dust whenever she stands still and shifts her weight.
She hums children's counting songs while sharpening weapons.
Her yellow scarf is visibly too warm for her, yet she refuses to travel without it.
She smells faintly of citrus peel, saddle soap, and wet stone.
Voice
“Bright and earthy, with a low rasp beneath the friendliness, like a cheerful song sung beside a wagon wheel.”
Clothing
A quilted teal gambeson under worn bronze-colored scale armor, loose russet trousers, soft traveling boots, a yellow scarf tied in a practical fisherman's knot, and a belt hung with colored bits of cord marking roads she has traveled.
Body Language
Zsóka keeps her shoulders open and her palms visible, making strangers feel safe, but her feet remain angled toward the nearest exit. She leans close when listening and looks past people when evaluating danger. Before a fight, she plants her heels, rolls her neck once, and begins humming softly.
