Vashqet Mirkhazan
Court Poisoner
Vashqet Mirkhazan
Species
Adult Green Dragon
Appearance
In dragon form, Vashqet is a long-bodied green dragon with moss-dark scales that overlap like wet roof tiles. Pale yellow-green membranes stretch between her wings, each veined with black lines resembling plant roots. Her horns sweep backward in uneven spirals, and a fringe of soft, fernlike tendrils grows beneath her jaw. She moves with unsettling quiet for her size, folding herself around doorways and furniture as though the room were an extension of her body. Within a minute of meeting her, most people notice that she stands too close, not from affection but because she genuinely forgets that smaller creatures experience her presence as pressure. The contradiction is her immaculate grooming: even after crawling through mud or grave soil, she smells faintly of crushed mint and keeps one claw polished to a mirror shine.
“Her voice is low, breathy, and controlled, with consonants pressed sharply against the teeth. In Draconic she sounds like stones grinding under roots.”

Distinguishing Features
Fernlike tendrils beneath her jaw that tremble when she detects poison
A copper throat clasp rubbed nearly smooth along one edge
A polished black claw that reflects faces like dark glass
A habit of occupying more physical space than necessary, even in humanoid form
A faint scent of crushed mint, wet stone, and old paper
Voice
“A calm contralto with a wet rasp beneath it, as if every sentence has passed through leaves and smoke. When angry, she drops almost all vocal inflection and speaks in a near-whisper that makes listeners lean closer.”
Clothing
Her humanoid guise wears a dark olive traveling coat stitched with tiny brass seed shapes, loose charcoal trousers, and soft leather boots. A faded copper throat clasp holds the coat closed. Its left edge is polished nearly bare from years of her thumb rubbing it during difficult decisions.
Body Language
In dragon form, she coils around the largest available object and lowers her head until one eye is level with the speaker. In humanoid form, she leans forward too far, turns her palms upward when making threats, and touches the worn copper clasp at her throat whenever she is hiding genuine tenderness.
