Appearance
Veshka is a small, sharp-featured goblin whose movements are quick without being jerky. She walks with her left shoulder slightly forward, as though perpetually making room for an invisible passing wagon, and pivots on the balls of her feet when anyone speaks. Her long fingers are stained charcoal gray from constant calculations, while her broad lower teeth show whenever she speaks quickly or laughs. She bites through loose thread instead of cutting it, leaving tiny frayed ends on nearly every garment she owns. The unexpected thing about her is her stillness: when she is truly frightened, she becomes perfectly motionless, staring like a shopkeeper waiting for a dishonest customer to reveal the missing coin.
