Appearance
A slim young woman with smooth olive skin and a dancer's narrow, flexible frame, Mira seems almost weightless until she stops moving. Then the room notices how firmly she occupies it. Her wrists are delicate, but her hands are roughened by hot trays, kitchen work, and years of gripping balcony rails during performances. Thick dark hair falls in a braided coil down her back, threaded with tiny brass bells that rarely ring because she has learned to control every motion. Her smile is bright and inviting, yet her eyes remain watchful, measuring doors, hands, and temperaments. The unexpected contradiction is her stillness: when she is frightened, she becomes perfectly motionless, like a painted saint, while everyone else expects her to flee.
“Warm, quick, and musical, with clipped consonants when she is working and a softer river-port cadence when she trusts someone. She rarely raises her voice.”

Distinguishing Features
A braid threaded with tiny brass bells that almost never ring while she moves.
A small crescent-shaped patch of paler skin at the base of her neck, shaped like a folded moth wing.
Callused fingertips and immaculate nails, reflecting both hard labor and meticulous grooming.
She leaves behind the faint scent of orange peel, lamp oil, and crushed mint.
Within a minute of meeting her, most people notice that she has already identified every exit in the room.
Voice
“A low, bright contralto with a teasing edge, capable of becoming startlingly flat when she is afraid or furious.”
Clothing
She wears a daring layered performance outfit of gauzy saffron and wine-red fabric, cut to leave her arms, shoulders, upper chest, midriff, and much of her back exposed. A fitted, high-cut dance brief is covered by overlapping translucent scarves that move with her hips and legs. For work, she adds a short sleeveless server's vest, practical ankle wraps, and a concealed apron that can be pulled over the costume in seconds. Everything is bright, washable, and repaired with careful invisible stitches.
Body Language
Mira leans slightly toward people when they speak, making them feel chosen, but keeps one foot angled toward the nearest exit. During performances she opens her arms broadly and takes up surprising space. When lying, she becomes unnaturally still and presses her thumb against the inside of her wrist.
