Before the world, there was only the Unmeasured Silence. Vostan discovered it and gave it a name. Kest challenged that name by introducing distinction, change, and contradiction. Pella arrived last, not as creator but as witness, carrying a small spark of warmth through the emptiness. The world exists in the tension between Vostan's silence, Kest's questions, and Pella's refusal to abandon anything that can suffer.

The faith is organized into three semi-independent orders. The Quiet Ledger preserves records, conducts funerals, and teaches Vostan's discipline. The Bent Road travels between settlements, arbitrates disputes, and spreads Kest's provocations. The Warm March maintains hospices, waystations, communal kitchens, and Pella's pilgrim routes. Every seven years, representatives of all three orders gather for the Distant Conclave, where they attempt to formulate one shared doctrine and traditionally fail.

The pantheon seldom intervenes directly. Its priests argue more than they cooperate, though shrines commonly contain three spaces: a blank stone for Vostan, a crooked iron token for Kest, and a warm lamp or feather for Pella. Mortals are not expected to choose one deity permanently. A person may pray to Vostan for clarity, Kest for courage to act, and Pella for the strength to remain kind afterward.

The dead awaken in the Quiet Beyond, where memory loses its edges. The wise may still choose a final question, but no deity answers. Those who served Vostan are said to dissolve peacefully, those who followed Kest are weighed by consequences, and those who loved Pella are given one last impossible journey across an endless white sea.
