The Wayfinder's Table
The chamber smells of wet stone and old copper. A circular basalt table fills its center, its surface carved as a miniature landscape of ridges, a dry riverbed, and a broken road. Four empty sockets surround a fixed cairn at the northern edge. Nearby, four loose stone tiles bear a stream, a watchtower, a thorn gate, and a cairn. Faint blue light pulses beneath the table whenever a tile is set down, brightening briefly when it sits in a plausible socket; the pulse fades with a soft click when the route is wrong.
