(15)A stout wooden rolling pin, sanded smooth by years of use. Polly sells these to adventurers who insist they can cook on the road.
A carved wooden spoon with a broad bowl, useful for porridge, soup, or stirring suspicious mixtures.
Dense rye bread, dried fruit, hard cheese, and a pinch of salt wrapped in waxed cloth.
A small, warm loaf with a crisp crust and a soft center. Polly insists that eating it before travel prevents foolish decisions.
A spiral pastry glazed with honey and dusted with cinnamon. The smell alone makes the shop feel warmer.
Sweet apple cider with a little spice. Polly sells it hot in the shop and cold for the road.
A small paper packet of coarse salt, folded shut with baker's twine.
A pitch-coated wooden torch kept beside the oven for travelers caught out after dark.
A sturdy canvas sack with a stitched drawstring. It smells faintly of flour.
A stoppered clay jug, useful for water, cider, oil, or carrying a suspiciously large quantity of gravy.
A thumb-sized honey biscuit containing one of Polly's tiny roasted luck seeds. The seed is sweet, crunchy, and almost certainly harmless.
A glossy fruit bun with a hidden roasted seed baked into the center. Polly gives stern instructions not to waste it on a gambling roll.
A paper cone of dried mint and chamomile sold as a remedy for travel fatigue, nervous stomachs, and people who refuse to rest.
A small linen packet assembled from surplus cloth and filled with clean bandages, beeswax salve, and needlework thread.
A waxed cloth wrap tied with red thread, useful for bread, maps, herbs, or anything that should not taste like the inside of a backpack.

Shop Atmosphere
“The Golden Crust is a warm sanctuary from the cold streets, with cinnamon, yeast, and woodsmoke clinging to every surface. Copper pans hang above the front room, and the windows fog whenever the ovens are lit. Polly Apple-Cheek is a halfling grandmother with flour-dusted elbows, a powerful memory for gossip, and a deceptively sharp wit. She is overwhelmingly motherly and scolds armed adventurers for wet boots, uncovered ears, skipped meals, and failing to wear scarves in the rain. She knows nearly every rumor in town because people talk freely while waiting for bread. Her most famous specialty is bread baked with tiny roasted seeds called luck charms. A customer who eats one gains a +1 bonus to the next d20 roll they make, but each charm works only once and Polly refuses to explain where the seeds come from. She will not sell weapons or armor, but she keeps practical travel supplies, simple remedies, durable food, and a few costly luck pastries for adventurers who look especially doomed.”
