About

Toma weighs even cheap goods carefully and makes a quiet clicking sound with his tongue whenever he suspects a customer is trying to bargain past the truth. The front windows are crowded with practical goods, while the counter bellwire and a squeaky storeroom door make sneaking around harder than it first appears.

Stash

4 items to steal

The stash · GM only

The cashbox, private keepsakes, and account book are kept behind the counter. A narrow storeroom behind it holds bulk goods and opens onto the shop floor.

Security check: DC 14Dexterity (Sleight of Hand) or thieves' tools
If they fail: A bellwire tied beneath the counter rings in the storeroom. Toma hears it and calls for help, then blocks the front door with a loaded handcart while a nearby watch patrol is summoned. The party has a brief chance to flee or explain themselves before the guards arrive.
The whole haul: About 24 gp
