The shop is called The Flea, after the tiny biting insects that persist in the old stone tunnels no matter how often the bedding is burned. It is wedged between the ring's entry stairs and the fighters' changing alcove. Damp brick sweats beneath soot-black rafters; the air smells of iron, boiled herbs, and old straw. A counter made from a reused coffin lid displays practical gear, while a chalkboard lists bout odds in cramped columns. Szabi is a lean, sharp-eyed human with a wrestler's shoulders and a quiet voice. They remember every debt and never sell a blade to someone about to enter an unarmed match. Two broad-shouldered door-wardens watch the stair landing, and regular fighters drift past often enough that a stranger rifling through the stock will be noticed.

The shop occupies a bolted-together booth beside the fighting pit. Its modest till sits under the counter; more valuable goods and the bout ledger are kept in a tight back room screened by hanging coats.

If they fail: A failed attempt is noticed by the two door-wardens on the stair landing. They block the exit and call the ring's bouncers, who demand the stolen goods back and a 25 gp fine. If the party resists, the wardens raise the alarm and the shopkeeper joins the defense.
