You always have the Circle of the Kabbalah spells prepared once you reach the druid level shown in the Spell List. These spells count as druid spells for you, and they don’t count against the number of spells you can prepare. When you gain a druid level, you can replace one of these spells with another spell of the same level from the druid spell list.
As a Bonus Action, you can expend one use of Wild Shape to place a living ward on yourself or one creature you can see within 30 feet. The ward lasts for 1 minute, until you have the Incapacitated condition, or until you use this feature again. The warded creature gains Temporary Hit Points equal to your druid level + your Wisdom modifier (minimum of 1). While the ward has any of these Temporary Hit Points, the creature can add 1d4 to one damage roll it makes on each of its turns. The ward ends when its Temporary Hit Points are gone.
When a creature you can see within 30 feet of you takes damage, you can take a Reaction and expend one use of Wild Shape to reduce that damage by 1d8 + your Wisdom modifier (minimum of 1). If the creature has your Living Sefirah ward, reduce the damage by an additional 1d8. You can use this reaction after the damage is rolled but before its effects are applied.
When you cast a druid spell using a spell slot that restores Hit Points to at least one creature, choose one creature healed by the spell. That creature can immediately end either the Charmed or Frightened condition on itself. You can benefit from this feature only once per turn.
When you use Living Sefirah, you can choose any number of creatures you can see within 30 feet, rather than one creature. Each target gains Temporary Hit Points equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of 1), and each warded creature can add 1d4 to one damage roll on each of its turns while it has any of these Temporary Hit Points. The original target of Living Sefirah instead gains Temporary Hit Points equal to your druid level + your Wisdom modifier, as normal. You still expend only one use of Wild Shape.

Use Living Sefirah before a dangerous exchange, then save Path of Return for a damaging hit that matters. Your subclass features do not replace Wild Shape’s other uses, so weigh protection against the value of transforming.
An initiate learns to observe a local ecosystem before attempting to diagram it: which creatures shelter others, what feeds the soil, and how damage travels.
A mentor then teaches them to hold those relationships in mind as a living Tree. Initiation is complete when the student protects a community without treating any one part of its web as expendable.
Most people see these druids as thoughtful healers and mediators, though their habit of tracing unseen connections can unsettle those who prefer simple explanations.
Communities facing ecological trouble may welcome them; leaders who profit from damaged land may regard them as dangerous.
