The Foreman's Vault
The dead toil still in the silent dark.
A compact burial complex carved into damp limestone. The air carries the dry scent of bone dust and the metallic tang of old blood.
The sound of distant, rhythmic scraping against stone. Chilly air that smells of wet earth and copper. Flickering blue torchlight casts elongated shadows.
☠ Threat
The Risen Foreman, once the architect's head builder, now rules the crypt as a hateful Wight. He is driven by a singular, warped purpose: to convert every living intruder into a permanent addition to his undead construction crew. He maintains the dungeon's traps and oversees the rhythmic tapping of pickaxes that echoes through the halls.
History
Built as a private resting place for a wealthy architect obsessed with the afterlife, the crypt was intended to be a masterpiece of eternal silence. However, a local necromancer's failed ritual nearby leaked into the vault, animating the architect's loyal staff into tireless, undead laborers. Now, they spend eternity expanding a tomb that was never meant to be finished.
Encounter Table
CRA single skeleton carrying a heavy stone block, ignoring the party unless blocked.
A mass of severed, undead hands that scramble across the floor like spiders.
Rumours & Whispers

The crypt doors only open for those who carry the tools of the trade.
